TITUM TITUM
Titum-Titum is an original physical theater production about preparing for new life, and finding family in unexpected places. When Adara (Asanda Rilityana) learns that she is expecting a child, she escapes the city to be with her oldest friend, Nobomi (Roshina Ratnam), who lives in the country side with her gigantic chicken Henrietta (Pedro the Music Man). The ups and downs of Adara’s pregnancy take the audience on a journey which begins with the sound of a heartbeat, which goes “titum-titum.” Bizarre food cravings, lullabies, rain dances and the baby’s first kick all introduce our special audience to the wonders of new life.
